Not new to TFP and use TFP methods on my pool. I have my pool perfect.

Bought a 110v spa 2 weeks ago.

T2006 test results on 300 gallon spa at 100 degrees. (It's still hot in Oklahoma so I have it turned down. )

FC - 9
CC .05.

CYA 30 ( I did read pool school for spas and worked hard to dial this in perfect.)

TA 70 ( I can work to bring this to 50 if you think I should.. but I thought TA at 70-90 ppm prevented the ph swing issue I'm having so I'm a bit confused on this.

Ph 8.4

CH 100 ( this with a strip test as im out of CH reagent. I'll order more as I know strips are not reliable. )

So... 4 hours ago I test it and it's 8.4. I Add ph down to get it to 7.4. Wife and I chill for the first half of OU / TX game (which is going south for OU BTW...lol) running air jets.

Anyway we have been in and out of it the last few hours. Just got out for the day, test it and it's 8.4 again, so I add more ph down.

Is this just how it is with spas running air jets or is this abnormal? Is ph adjustment a daily thing? My pool has spoiled me as it's vinyl for one... and runs consistently at 7.8 without me doing anything. All I do with it is add bleach daily.

Everything else is running perfect. Water crystal clear and silky smooth. No issues with CC.... I did add gentle spa. Also this is filled on city water that isn't hard and I did purge the tub with ahh some after delivery.

Thanks!
