I think I saw a replacement swivel cord on Marina’s Pool & Spa website for around $130 or so if your patch fails....

149 is the price at marinas. I was worried since the power supply was on in stby mode and the shorted cables felt a little warm, but everything is looking good. The heatshrink used is for sumersible pumps which melts a glue on the inside when heated. Works like a charm.
