Persistent filter leak

No band clamp on mine and only one way it can go.

I must be the canary for the entire neighborhood. My neighbors sit calmly outside for hours with no problems while I douse myself with Listerine, run outside and clean the pool as fast as possible while doing the get-the-#%**-off-me dance, then run back in the house 2 quarts lighter.

I forgot yours had the locknut instead of a band. Did the new multiport come with a locknut? Any luck getting the new one installed?

Yep, the new one comes with it, plus the special wrench to tighten it. Will be several days before it arrives, but believe me, at this point I can take that sucker apart and reassemble it in my sleep.
