Hello,
Pressure drops to 5 psi when the pump has been on at least 1 hour. If pump is turned off and started again, all is fine for another hour. Pool guy first thought is was a bad diffuser in the pump, but then he said there was something in the circulation line, blocking the flow when it moves around (he thought is might be the flap that is broken off and missing from the bottom of the safety valve). He is going to charge $200 to try and blow it out with an air cannon.
Does this make sense? I do not want to be ripped off.
