Pentair Intellichlor IC-60
I’m looking to finally switch to a SWCG. I’m kind of confused with pentair. I’m getting the IC-60. Do I need to just get the Intellichlor power center, or can it just be powered with the intellicenter?

Or is the intellicenter the smart controller if I had pentair everything? I just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly!

Thanks!

If the Intellicenter you purchased was not set up for a SWCG, then you need the power center with the SWCG cell. You then run the power to the power center from the LOAD side of the Pump/Filter relay in the Intellicenter. You also run a 4 wire line from the RS485 port in the power center to the Intellicenter board.

So, I haven’t purchased anything yet. I’m slowly switching everything over. I have two pumps, one of which is a whisperflo. Can I just purchase the intellicenter and that’s all I need?

Yes.
I do believe Pentair is making it more difficult to do this type of work DIY. The vendor I linked to used to sell direct to public and ship. No more. Have to go to the store in person.

Thanks so much for the link and input!

Yeah, I can unfortunately see that by trying to Google for it closer to me. If I can’t find that, can I just dumb it down and get the power center and IC60 salt cell? Which would suck but oh well.

Or can I just buy the intellicenter and the salt cell separate?
