We have a new pool with all Pentair equipment. The salt level values being calculated by the IC40 IntelliChlor have been all over the place. When the IC40 was first powered on, the salt levels were showing really high in IntelliCenter (4,700-4,800) so we tested with our TF-Pro Salt test kit and found it was closer to 4,000. Then maybe a month later, after powering the system off to clean the pump basket the IC40 suddenly showed salt levels too low (2,600-2,800) and the red 'low salt' light has been flashing since. We tested the salt level again this past weekend and found it to be 3,800. I contacted Pentair support and they asked for my test results. I asked for clarification on what they were looking for and they just repeated the same thing asking for my latest test results. I sent them an export from the Pool Math app to see what they'd say and they just replied saying they need test results from a pool store. Has anyone else worked with Pentair for warranty issues? I've never even been to a pool store so do I just find one and have them test the salt level and print something out?
