Pentair vsf intelliflo i1 screen dead?

Had the pump on earlier, went to switch it off later and noticed the screen just died? The backlight still works, the programs still work, just never seen lcd screens go out without turning black.

If anyone has a used screen they’re selling, let me know. Or if you know how to fix it.

Well, my screen is working again. Guess it needed a 3 day vacation. Maybe it got too hot?

It's been reported somewhere that the LCD or the entire pad's connection to the underlying circuit board may become loose enough to turn the screen off. That person's solution was to put something under the lid to press down on the display, though since the lid has no latch I don't know how that person managed that. Another member here has a totally dead screen and found that the parts are no longer available from Pentair leaving only used ones out on the interwebs. I hope mine keeps jugging along since it was a $1000 investment several years ago. I may be at a break even point or beyond now with it since I'm saving about $30 per month over the power used by my prior single speed pump and at that rate the pump was paid off at 33 months.
