Pentair VSF and Ultratemp heater shut off at same time

Have a new heat pump and pump install. Each wired separate into separate breakers. When I turn on the heater, it instantly kicks off the pool pump and then within a second, the heat pump errors on low water flow. I have clean baskets, backwashed filter, high water levels. Pentair says they have never seen it but maybe an electrical
Issue or drive issue on the pump. It has run for 8 hours before and works well but other than that, will not start up 95% of the time. Power stays on to everything and the pump will kick back on after 3 seconds and the heat pump goes into restart mode. Thoughts?

Pick me! I'll guess.
The surge current draw when the heat pumps compressor starts is lowering the voltage to the filter pump substantially outside its voltage/amp operating range briefly activating the self-protection; ie shutting itself off. Never a good thing.
Installing a soft starter on heat pump should resolve your issue.
An underlying problem may be a wire sizing issue vs the length of wire vs combined amp draw within the common panel box.

Thank you. Makes a lot of sense.

What breaker feeds this subpanel?

How far is it from the main panel to this subpanel?

What is the wire size from the main panel to this subpanel?

What is the wire type?

Did you watch the voltage before anything turns on and then when heat pump turns on?
