Something has changed recently in a config that has caused my Pentair VS to run briefly after a power outage. Not that I get a lot of power outages, but I did get one and the Pump came on. This is a HUGE problem as it is for a water feature and it is a 5hp pump. That is a lot of water that can be dumped on the cover in 30 seconds or so. I *think* it might be just running a priming, but not certain.

None of my other 4 pumps have this behavior, but they are all VSF pumps. To be clear, this is new behavior though. This has never happened until this week.

thank you!

What model pump are we discussing?

Is it controlled by automation?

Can you duplicate the problem by flipping the pump CB off and on?

The Pump is a Pentair WhisperfloXF FS 5HP.

The problem does not happen when I trip the circuit breaker to that pump.

It is connected to an Intellicenter. When I trip the circuit breaker to the Intellicenter Control Panel and then bring it back on, the Pump goes into Priming mode. No other pumps do this priming when the Intellicenter comes back online (or while it is booting - cannot tell which).

This is a new behavior though, and no firmware changes or anything has happened. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
