Pentair Sta Rite Well Pump Leaking

Hi guys!

My house came with this old pump for sprinklers. Now that Im doing the pool Im teying to fix my sprinklers because they never come on.
I noticed that the pump is broken, including the thread. The pipe is not broken but the actual pump.

is there an easy fix? Flex seal???

Can you post pics of the entire pump? You posted a pic of the motor but the same motor is used on many pumps. Are there any markings or labels on the pump?

If that is a crack then you need to replace the pump. A product like flexseal is not going to hold back water under pressure.

If that has threads into the pump then it's a nipple on there that the PVC adapter is threaded to. If it's part of the pump itself the metal rotted and its replacement time. Cut it out and see what it looks like

Yes, it looks its the metal thread coming from the pump that is cracked.

Tried to unscrew the pipe that was attached to it and it came right off

Carefully put ur finger in and feel under to see if theres threads and that piece screws in. If it's part of the welded body then its done

Yup, its all flat in there, no threads

Took a second look, and this was the solution, it was a piece of pipe glued there. Took it out and there were threads. Just re-piped the whole thing and its working like new. Thanks!

Good job. I remember messing with one years ago and it was threaded in glad you figured it out
