Pentair Solar Valve Actuator won’t turn off automatically

My solar valve will not turn off when the filter pump shuts down for the day or if the solar temp is below the water temp. The actuator is set to ON2 position and the Easytouch 4 is in AUTO mode. When I turn off the Pool heat or reduce the pool temperature below the solar temperature, I hear a click in the board and the small red indicator above the solar button in the panel goes off, but no movement in the actuator. The water always gets pushed up to the solar panels when the filter pump runs, no matter what.

But the solar actuator valve shuts off either when i manually put it in ON1 position or when I change the mode in my Easytouch panel to SERVICE or TIMEOUT.

Any idea what’s going on here and any pointers to handle it?

Some additional context, the actuator was in ON2 position when I switched the mode on the panel to Service/Timeout and it automatically turns off, meaning there is a signal going to the actuator from the panel. The only time it does not turn off is in the Auto mode.

Has it always behaved this way, or is this new behavior? Is the solar actuator correctly connected to the Valve A connector on the ET board?

Update: After trying different options, I did a reset of all solar settings back to pre-solar and reconfigured everthing again. The actuator seems to work as expected now.

Also, thanks Ahultin in for the suggestion, my water temp reading was off a few degress, even though that was not causing the issue, and I recalibrated it.
