My equipment is an Intellicenter, Intelliflo3 VSF pump, a valve actuator, and Magicstream Laminars. I just started up this pool, and my original setup was to have a Laminars feature circuit that would run the pump at 1150 RPM and open the valve. The problem when the valve opens to the deck jets, the pump is still running at whatever RPM the normal pool setting is and blows the jets clear across the pool. Or, if I turn the pool off, and run the Laminars circuit, the pump goes through a priming phase to start and again blows the water completely across the pool. Is there a better way to set this up? My solution as of now is just manually adjust down the pump RPM and then actuate the valve separately.

Report your problem to Pentair Support and request a change to the IntelliCenter that adds an option to “delay valve movement until pump at set speed.” It may be years before Pentair gets it done but get it on their list.

In the meantime it will take two steps of changing pump RPM then waiting until the correct speed to turn on the deck jets.
