Pentair Screenlogic to IFTTT and Smartthings

Has anyone been able to find or create an easy way to connect the Screenlogic system (pre 2015 model) to IFTTT or Smartthings?

I am specifically looking to have IFTTT send me a text when the pool temperature drops below a certain number when I am traveling. I am not concerned with the automation of the heating etc. as that is handled by Screenlogic. This is as a backstop to send me the "emergency" message as I had the heater fail last year and the Screenlogic system would not be able to detect that other than tell the heater to heat; which is not good enough as a backup.

You cannot do it from your EasyTouch, but many IOT devices will alert you to a temperature.

check out nodeJS pool controller... there are threads on tfp about it, and lots of great support. i'm not sure it has built in IFTTT support but you can integrate it with various home automation (Alexa, Smartthings, Home assistant etc)
