Hey everyone, after searching lots of threads and reading articles, the FIX is in! I've been unable to connect remotely, only locally, and the pool installer guy was a JOKE! I was unable to use and/or login on my laptop with the Screenlogic software (that I downloaded from a Pentair site) Kept getting same error, Gateway connection failed, something or other. I finally found a thread that mentioned downloading a separate APP to my iphone called SL Config. It's the freaking configuration app that you need. Connect locally with that app, >General Settings >System info and Password> create new password, save it, exit it, and test it by disconnecting locally or take a nice long drive from the house and reconnect using your new password. Hope this works as easy for you as it did for me, and I hope it saved you the hours of frustration that I went through!
Pentair remote would only connect locally, but not REMOTE - FIXED!

Yes, ScreenLogic requires two apps. The ScreenLogic app is more for control, while the SLconfig app is more for set up..
