Hello everyone! I purchased a Pentair Prowler 830 four years ago. It has been a great robot and I've had minimal issues with it over the four years of ownership. This year has been the maintenance year with it. The foam climbing rings need replacement (they have come completely off), the mesh filters need a deep clean as they seem to have extra grime that I haven't seen before, and the cord is deteriorating... it's discolored, the surface is tacky and crumbly, and there's a crack in the exterior insulation showing the interior cord.

I have ordered new climbing rings and will scrub the mesh filters to see if they clean up, but I need to find a replacement cord. I'm curious if there's a compatible Dolphin replacement that's less expensive than the Pentair cord. All ideas are appreciated!

Maytronics makes the cables for your cleaner. I don't believe it's a Pentair.
My research shows this PN for a replacement cable with swivel 9995872-DIY or 873. You need to verify which for your cleaner.
I believe you have a three pin cable. $300 ish is the best I could find.

The cords are expensive. I have a Pentair Warrior SI and the cord has been tacky/slighly disintegrating for a couple of seasons now. I checked last year with Marina and the cord that won’t carry Bluetooth signals is $100, the cord that will is $200. I haven’t found any better pricing. I decided to just keep mine until it dies even if it’s unsightly.

Thanks for the info! I used eternabond tape to wrap the area of my cord with the broken insulation. It's holding up well and appears to keep water from entering the cracked insulation. I'd rather put the money towards a new robot when this one dies, so I'll keep this one going as long as possible instead of replacing an expensive cord on a 4-year-old robot.
