Pentair Mastertemp 400 issues

Where does the other end of the black cord go?

The gas valve switch looks different, like maybe it was replaced.

Check for 24 VAC going to the gas valve.

The other end of the black chord goes into the main control panel for all the equipment.

WELP AJW Was right. After a few frustrating beers I walked over to my propane tank and tapped on the gauge with my beer bottle. And watched the needle drop from 40% to 0%. I feel pretty stupid now. But my next beer will be a happy beer as the propane company is scheduled to come out tomorrow and fill the tank. Thanks for all the information guys and if anything I learned a lot about the heater over the past few days.... Now onto fixing the spa main drain leak....

That’s an old pilot trick. It does not work well with glass panels.
