Hi All, on startup my gas heater will not fire i can hear everything but the ignition. Do the cheap iginitors on amazon work or should i go OEM?

Have you removed the igniter and inspected it?
Is the igniter resistance about 50 ohms?
Do you see the igniter glow on startup?
Lots of things can cause a failure to ignite.
