Pentair master temp 400. Can't adjust temperature.

Replaced my flu stack sensor a week ago. Heater worked great after that. Last night tried turning it on and it fired then turned off. I tried pumping up the temperature by pushing the up arrow. As I've read in other feeds, I could get temperature to go down but not up. So all threads say reset temperature by holding yellow button on back of control panel. Nothing changed. Is there a particular sequence or amount of time I need to hold the button down for it to reset and raise temp above 70. ?
Thanks

Access the control panel board on the underside of the top cover.
Locate the yellow button on the corner of the control board.
3. Push the Max. Temp. Set Point button on the back of the
control board (see Figure 7).
The following sequence should happen:
A. The unit turns on and the POOL ON light will
turn on.
B. Press the ^TEMP or TEMP pad (on TOP of the
panel) to set maximum pool temperature.
C. Wait up to 30 seconds; the POOL ON light will turn off
and the SPA ON light will turn on. To override the time
delay, push the Max. Temp. Set Point button again.
D. Press the ^TEMP or TEMP button on the control
panel and set maximum spa temperature to 40°C
(104° F) or less.
E. Wait up to 30 seconds; the SPA ON light will turn off
and the unit will shut down. To override the time delay,
push the Max. Temp. Set Point button again.

Try this. The key is that you have to reset the maximum temperature within 30 seconds of pushing the button.

Pool / Spa, it doesn't matter which setting you use. The heater has no clue where the water is going from or going to. They have those two options so people can do two set points for temp and then choose one depending on what they are heating and they don't have to be constantly changing the temp up or down. Obviously you change valve settings in order to heat a spillover spa only.
