Pentair Load Center Low Voltage Transformer Wiring

I have a new Pentair Load Center. I need to hook up the input to the low voltage transformer. Do I need to wire it directly to a circuit breaker? Is there an advantage to using 110 vs 220 as the input? The box says that 200v is the default. DO I have to make any changes to settings if I use 110?

My Intellitouch manual says wire to it a breaker and suggests using 120 (which is how mine is wired). I wouldn't do 240 (220) unless you really want to use a double breaker.

Are you doing this for an intellicenter, easytouch or intellitouch?

S,

The only real key, in my mind, is don't wire it to a pump breaker....

The one at my house is set up to run off of 120 volts, just because it only uses one breaker slot.. I have a rent house unit that only has 240, no neutral wire, so that EasyTouch is wired for 240 volts... The ET does not care, one way or the other, so just do what is easiest for you.

Thanks,

Jim R.
