Pentair Lights and Lutron Caseta not working

I thought i read here that the caseta and pentair lights are compatible.

I purchased the caseta dimmer switch (Lutron Diva Smart Dimmer Switch Starter Kit for Caseta Smart Lighting, with Smart Hub and Pico Remote DVRF-BDG-1D - The Home Depot) ,the pool company hooked it up, but it wont stay on a constant color. so they are saying that the dimmer switches dont work.

Any advice?

They say i need to get this (Lutron 2-Button Pico Remote Control for Caseta Wireless Switch, White PJ2-2B-GWH-L01 - The Home Depot) but i am not confident that they are that knowledgable.

I also have a TP Link smart switch and a GE smart switch if those are better? but those wouldn't have the remote I guess.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm about to switch back to the 500W incandescent bulb since the Lutron Caseta seems incompatible with pool lights. I too have the Pentair light.

Just to close the loop on this for anyone else with this issue, swapping the red/black wires fixed the issue with the Lutron Caseta switch.
