Pentair Intelliflo sucking in air ...

My Pentair Intelliflo pump is drawing in small air bubbles, and over the course of about an hour, both filter baskets nearly empty, causing the pump to lose its prime. This issue just started recently. I found a hairline crack in the system, which I repaired with epoxy. The crack is above the water line and doesn't appear to be leaking, but the air suction issue persists.

The pool is 20,000 gallons with pop-up cleaners, all of which are functioning properly. I cleaned the cartridges a few weeks ago, so I’m unsure what could be causing this. I really need to figure it out. Any suggestions?

d,

The first thing I would do is to try running from just one input.. Just the skimmer, then just the main drain and then just the cleaner... See if you get the same bubbles when running one input at a time.

As a side note, I do not understand your Intake valve set-up.. You should either be in the Pool mode or the Spa mode, but it appears to me that you are in both at the same time?? I would think this would suck all the water out of your spa pretty quickly???

Thanks,

Jim R.
