Pentair Intelliflo Serial Connection Nut

Random question, I know, but I was hoping someone might know the size of the plastic retaining nut for the rs485 connection on the VSF pump. Mine or missing/gone/broken/lost (?) and I would like to firm up the connector.

You mean this nut? It looks like 3/4 inch but not removable. Let us know what you do.

Actually, the nut that holds the receiving end in the pump, under the display.

It appears to be half inch, but but for conduit connectors are course threaded and this is fine threaded.

It's probably a standard connector.

Check with communication and data wiring suppliers to see if they can identify it.

It's probably a part that costs less than a dollar.

If I could identify the actual connector, that would be very helpful. I have not been able to find anything similar.

Contact the big data cable sellers and ask them to identify it for you.

Email them a picture and see what happens.

Have you tried an authorized Pentair dealer/warranty service station? There is a list on the Pentair website. You might pay a premium for a "genuine" Pentair part, but even if you paid three times what it's worth, it still wouldn't be much money...less than a Starbuck's latte?
