Pentair IntelliFlo or Heyward for VS Pump?

Price aside, is there any clear favorite on TFP or is it kind of split down the middle?

It's a Ford vs Chevy kind of thing. Most folks like what they have. I like Pentair because that is what my PB installed. They are certainly both top notch pool equipment manufacturers.

Hayward Aquarite is preferred by many over the Intellichlor. It is cheaper, easier to operate, has more features and the replacement cells are cheaper too. UNLESS you plan to use an automation panel then it is better to use the same brand equipment.
