Pentair Intelliflo Controller Receptacle Replacement

Hi all,

I have looked through previous threads and am unsure of what I found. One of the pins on my four-pin receptacle for my Intelliflo pump broke inside the cable plug. After looking through previous threads, it appears that the pump only uses two of the four pins anyway. My question is, can I replace my four-pin receptacle with a two-pin receptacle and not lose the pump's functionality to be controlled via the Screen Logic system (aka the ability to change pump speeds, not just turn the pump on and off)? Thank you for your help and advice.

What model number IntelliFlo pump are we discussing?

Only the yellow and green wires are used for RS-485.

Did one of the active pins break?

Do you have a replacement 2-pin receptacle?

Show us pictures of the pump and receptacle.

Hi ajw22,

The pump is the Intelliflo Variable Speed pump. It was installed in 2015. One of the four pins broke on the receptacle. I can buy the two-pin replacement, but I want to make sure I will have full functionality before I do so., Here are some pictures. Thanks!
