Pentair IC40 salt cell PPM level issue

I have an IC40 in use for our 1 year old pool and recent readings on the cell are about 600ppm higher from my electronic salinity tester and two independent pool stores. The IC40 registers 3300 and the other tests all come back around 2700.

Is this normal? Do salt levels at the pump generally run higher than when you get a water sample at arms length?

Is the cell generating chlorine? If so, all is good. Get a drop based salinity test for the most accuracy. Taylor K1766. The cell readout is at best +\-400 ppm.

Yes it is generating chlorine and levels are normal. Currently running the cell at 20%.

Good to know not to rely on the cell reading.
