Pentair Globrite custom colors?

So I have the new Globrites setup on an Easytouch 4. Does anyone know if it's possible to create new custom colors beyond the blue/green/red/white/pink buttons on the Screenlogic app? There are some wonderful colors that show up in the sequences, for example, a teal during the transition between blue and green in the Carribean sequence. If not, is it possible to pause a sequence when it hits a color that you like? Sorry if this is a dumb question... I couldn't find anything in search. Thanks!

I did just re-read the Globrite manual and it alludes to a "hold" feature that may save the current light effect during a sequence, but that feature doesn't appear to be exposed in the Screenlogic app.

I can't speak to Globrites or how they work, but the first part is how do you have them defined in Screenlogic/ET4? To get the proper control in SL, you must have the light circuits defined as "Intellibrite" in the config section. Globrite is not an option in the circuit setup, but SALlight and SAMlight are there too - I think those are older technologies than the Intellibrite. You might try different "Circuit Functions" to see if you can get that control.

I haven't honestly tried it, but with the lights defined as Intellibrite's on the control screen in Screenlogic it will give all of the light color control plus two buttons that show up on the bottom of the screen - Save and Recall - I think you can use those buttons for the Intellibrites to save a current color. Might work for your lights as well.

Absolutely brilliant, Greg... Thank you! The Globrites are setup as Intellibrites in SLConfig. I started running the Caribbean sequence and hit "Save" just as the teal color appeared. After some power cycling, the lights held that color. I switched to red, then hit "Recall" and the teal came back online. This is definitely a suitable workaround. It's a shame there's no control system beyond cycling power for this family of lights. I'm sure the LEDs themselves are capable of so much more (like setting brightness level) but all in all it's a nice system.

Thanks for your spot-on advice.

Glad that worked - part of it was guessing on my part, but knew that is supposed to be how it worked. The Globrites were new to me, but there was another thread on them last night - so I googled and read a couple of articles about them.

It is a bit sad there isn't more control, but this is what it is for this generation. Pentair has talked about their next generation control systems, but they've been talking a couple of years and no products are on the market. I would hope or think with the advancements in LED the last 5 years that they will get to full color control on the next generation, that doesn't do a lot for you and me however.

Just an update - you're our hero, Greg. "Recall" is now our go-to button for this color...
