I am looking to be able to use the Pentair app to switch from pool mode to spa mode. Currently I may be at work and tell someone home to go to the automation box and press the "V" button to move the valves from pool to spa. I then turn on the heater and aerator from remotely from my phone. I would like to do all of this remotely from my phone. Thanks in advance.

Brent,

You just press the Spa Icon...

I have an Android system and if I bring up the app I can see a page showing all the circuits. Pressing Spa, turns on the Spa and pressing Pool turns on the Pool.. That said, I do not have a spa and I'm just looking at the reaction at the EasyTouch.

What I see that I don't understand or like is that if I am in the Pool mode and press Spa, the ET switches to the Spa mode, but the app shows both the Pool and Spa Icons as blue... It appears you have to hit the "Circuits" icon once or twice to only show what is active.

Anyway, try it and tell us what happens...

In theory, your pool should switch to the Spa mode and turn the heater on at whatever temperature you want.

Thanks,

Jim R.

I will try clicking on the spa button when I get home. Just like I have three rpm's for the pool pump. I can slide the low speed and high speed both to on. This is an error that should be corrected.

Well I tried what you said yesterday and now I can control the pool/spa mode from my phone. Thank you so much.

P.S. When looking at the summary, check out the water temps for the pool and spa. The one that has "last" to the right is currently NOT on.

Brent,

I hardly ever use my phone.. 99.9% of the time I just use my PC which has different screens and does not have the issue showing both the Pool and Spa on at the same time..

What you said about the "Last" temperature reading makes perfect sense...

Thanks,

Jim R.
