Pentair Easy Touch - Freeze with heater

Howdy, so I was hit by the freeze last year and lost my pool heater. Since then I have replaced the heater and pump to a StaRite VSF.

Question is, should the heater turn on during Freeze Protection of Spa mode? Before the replacements, the heater turned on in spa mode during freeze protection and today it does not.

Just validating if I need to make any adjustments. We have a sizable spa ~900 Gallons.

I cant see any settings which would enable this options, so if that's preferred please share how to enable.

My,

The heater should not come on when the EasyTouch is in the freeze control mode.. All you want is for water to be moving, it does not need to be heated.
