SAo My lcd is no longer showing ledgiable display, wich wasnt an issue for a while as there are only 3 mode to display Auto / Time Out / Service. and I could figure out which mode it was in by looking at the pump display which reads "Display inactive when its in auto mode and runs the pre programed schedule which I could adjust with the Remote and change settingd from there. However it no longer comunicates with the rempote. changed batteries. reset the panel ...etc Both failures followed an 3 - 4 day hard freeze. I am wondering if changing the mother board is the answer but wanted o see if anyone may have some similar experince that I can learn from. Thank you so much!

Is the LCD showing anything at all? i.e. is it garbled or just blank, and is the backlight on or off? Shoot us a picture if it's hard to describe

In lieu of that detail, if the comm port wiring (i.e. the cabling to the pump and remote transceiver and back to the outdoor board) is ok, then it's possible that the outdoor board has failed... but the fact that you had a hard freeze makes me wonder if there's moisture somewhere it shouldn't be. (We had a torrential rain yesterday and my intellitouch system popped a low-voltage breaker... turns out the screenlogic transceiver shells aren't exactly water-tight and some moisture got in there)

I would disconnect everything from your comm port, then power up the board and see if it behaves correctly. If it still doesn't work and you're comfortable reading dc voltage with a multimeter, measure the voltage at the red/black terminals... you should get around 15vdc. We can go from there!
