Pentair control panel lid doesn't close

Hi, I have a Pentair Superflo pump that I just installed. After installing, I've noticed that the control panel lid doesn't fully close. I'm not sure how much of a concern this is. I'd imagine the panel itself is waterproof. Anyone have this issue before? I figured I would try and resolve it while I have warranty and/or can return it.

The panel itself is not as waterproof as you want. We see pumps electronics fail due to water getting into the control panel. The hinge on the lid looks bent. The lid needs to close tightly.

Make a warranty claim.

Or perhaps a stickout from the mold wasn't trimmed back enough.

Just got mine installed 3 weeks ago and noticed same when i opened lid and then tried to close it. How did you resolve? Thanks
