Pentair color wheel lights

Hey all,

Today I finally had all the parts and enough to time to attempt to resurrect my dead Penatair Color
Wheel lights. I replaced the bulbs with halogens and also had to replace the thermal switches in both lights. I was unable to find the temperature specs for the original thermal switches so I bought the highest temp Honeywell 2544R I could find. I think they switch off at 70C.

Well everything works great. Except that the lights cycle on and off. Clearly the halogens are making it hotter than 70C in the fixtures. My options as I see them.

1. Go buy LED bulbs to replace the halogens. Should be cooler.
2. Try and find a higher temp thermal switch. How high?
3. Bypass the thermal switches.

Any thoughts, opinions or other ideas?

Thanks.
Jeff
