Hi Guys,

I know that this pump is super popular around here, but i've been reading through the amazon reviews and I noticed that it tends to have issues with the electrical timer/programming component. Has anyone done anything hear to try and mitigiate those issues? Maybe applying more sealant around the digital display or something along those lines?

i,

Keep in mind that there are many thousands of these pumps out there that have been working fine for many years.. There owns just don't post to say what great pumps they are .. You can not go by reviews because you only get one side of the story..

That said, the only thing that I know a lot of people do is to add a surge protector right at the equipment pad.. But you should be doing that no matter which VS pump you buy..

I have three IntelliFlo pumps, at three pools, that have all been running 24/7 for the past 4 to 6 years.. If one of them went bad today, I would have another IntelliFlo on my porch tomorrow... :p

Thanks,

Jim R.
