While I am trying to decide on color (Prism Blue vs. French Gray) I am wondering more so if one darker plaster would have more color in/consistency issues than lighter plaster? I am looking for a finish without seeing too many lighter vs. darker areas in pool. Prism Blue is darker than French Gray and I have read that the plaster color fades over time so is it advantageous to put in a PebbleSheen that is darker than you think you would want to go vs. lighter in value? I have also read a few posts people complaining about mottling with the French Gray color but maybe it can happen with any color. I am leaning toward Prism Blue but got the last minute scaries and thought maybe I should go lighter. We are in the home stretch and deck is about 1/3 done.

I went darker to try to keep the pool warmer and to mitigate the sun fade a little bit.

I think the color consistency will come down to the installers and how good of a job they do since they are mixing it up as they go. The experts in here can correct me though if I’m wrong.
