Pool was green, treated according to pool store recommendations, called for a lot of yellow treat, may have put a little extra, my pool has never looked this beautiful! A couple days later I noticed rows of green they do not brush off. I put a chlorine tab on it and it cleared that spot. So I shocked the pool with a granular shock. It is still there. I have seen these rows before and thought I was seeing things, but they are there. What does it mean if they come back in the same place? How do I keep them at bay/get rid of them?
I’m at a loss.
Look closely the rows are vertical in the image.

Welcome to TFP.

Yellow treat changes your pool from a chlorine pool into a bromine pool.

All of our methods are chlorine based. You need a proper test kit to do your own testing and then need to get your pool back to a chlorine pool to follow our SLAM Process

Lots of reading for you to do...
