Hi! Looking for any help finding a pool and patio paver option that is not too busy and looks like flagstone. After a year+ of research I've come to know more about the local paver companies and options(I'm in NJ) than I ever wanted to lol. However everything I like has been discontinued. I'd love to use a Unilock product as I've heard the most positive things about them in terms of the integrity of their products and manufacturing process....although the products are super hard to get your hand on as they are still backed up from the pandemic. Our house is tan and husband doesn't want too much grey, but finding a tan flagstone(ISH) paver that doesn't pull too yellow or pink in the sun is next to impossible. Any and all suggestions welcome! PS....our contractor wants to use Travertine but I'm not a big fan of the color options and hear mixed reviews. Thanks in advance!!!

How about Tech-Block Blu Slate Collection in Chestnut Brown, specifically the HD2 Slate variety, as it looks slightly less dark than the regular (not the picture below). I can see where the lighter tans (and in the Tech-Block line, Sandalwood) can get some of the hues you don't want. I'll show you our Sandalwood which I'm sure has too much orange, but it's a representation after 10 years (during which the orange became more pronounced), and in the middle of a powerwash.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! Its funny you say that because my next door neighbors have the exact paver (pre-HD2) and I absolutely loved it when they first got it but it has lost a lot it's luster. I imagine the HD2 won't do that as much. My husband and I are at odds a bit because he just wants to do the Travertine because it's cool underfoot. So I was looking for a lighter paver for that reason however meaning for a while to pick up a larger sample of the Chestnut. While I know thls will get hotter than lighter colors, I love the look of the darker colors(Chestnut and yours as well)....the only reason I have to steer away from those warmer colors is that they will probably clash with my circa 2000 pinky beige house. lol. Ironically too, techo chestnut is our border color for a possible tan combo!!

I agree that the HD2 versions should retain their original color/texture better.
