Happy Friday!
I have Robellini palms around my pool, which was recently renovated and the deck expanded so that now the palms are "enclosed" within the deck. What material should I put at the base of these trees?

It needs to be something "clean" as in, does not blow around easily, and ideally, something that my yard guy doesn't have to cut every week because he is the king of getting clippings in my pool lol. I'm thinking rocks maybe but they'd have to be big enough not to blow in the wind (not pebbles). I'm trying to keep the pool as clean as possible. Something low maintenance would be great too.

I'd love some thoughts and ideas!

Use decorative rocks. 3/4” or larger will stay put and have a nice look. At that size, they also will not blow around easily from someone using a leaf blower. Go to any landscape supply yard to look at samples. Most yards will give you a bag full of rocks for free as samples so you can check color. Ask your landscaper if they have any preferred materials supplier they work with. They should know people in that business.
