Hello, new to the forum and to maintaining an ozone pool. Is there somewhere I can go to read about the proper chemical levels for an ozone pool? I know that Chlorine levels are significantly lower (.5) but what about other chemical levels or do they differ at all? Thanks

Welcome to TFP!!!

We don't recommend the use of Ozone. According to the FDA there are no levels where Ozone cannot be both, an efficient sanitizer and safe for humans (Different context, same use).

Running with such a low level of chlorine will sooner or later lead to an unsanitary pool. The first sign will be algae, followed by bacteria and viruses.
Focusing in eliminating algae with out proper levels of sanitizers Chlorine, Baquacil or Bromine (the last for indoor pools only) wont prevent bacteria and viruses to thrive.
We recommend using chlorine as the sole sanitizer of your pool in levels compatible with your CYA (Stabilizer).

You can learn a little more here:

P,

When you use chlorine, you can actually test your water and tell if you have enough sanitizer or not.

You can't easily do that with Ozone.

All magic, but unfortunately, no rabbit.

Good luck with your pool.

Thanks,

Jim R.
