We just converted to swg this past week and the chlorine level had been high and climbing each day as we get the shoutout adjusted. Decided to do an overnight test and we went from FC 10 to an 8 overnight. (I did take the morning sample after sunrise but there was no direct light in the pool yet)
Does this mean we have an algae problem and need to slam? I think the CC is right at .5 based on my testing.

If we do need to slam, does that have to be started right away or is it safe to use the pool over the weekend since we have plenty of FC in the water?
