We had an overlapping liner put in this summer . Everything seemed fine . The pool was filled all summer then I noticed the overlap getting less on one side . The entire pool might avg 4” overlap ( not a lot but it was the only overlapping pool liner pool supplies sold for a 27’ 54” wall) when I seen it in July it might have had 2” over hang ( under the top rail ) and now in novemeber its probably down to 1” what could be causing my liner to slip when it was full of water for months . It’s brand new liner

Hmmm I’m not sure I know the liner was touching the sand cove . I had a guy instal it so i assume he was paying attention . I think it was installed in June I just assumed any settling would have already been done when it was full . I know I drained it 18” below skimmer for winter since we get a lot of rain and snow here I noticed the liner towards the top I can push in towards the wall if that matters. The guy who installed it did use a shop vac

Liners shrink when sitting out in the sun / open air. Are you sure it is not just the overlapped part shrinking?

It would take a LOT to pull a liner over the top of the wall with the overlap clips on. It would tear first.

It was just 2” deeper in the centre . And I’m not 100% I thought the same as you as it should rip before pulling in . But the only reason I noticed it was I could see the design in the water was lower than the rest in that one spot . It’s been full for about 6 months doesn’t make any sense to me what’s going on with it
