I think the unibead or j-hook liners are easier to install. Set the liner on the track/ wall and there is no lineup required. For a level wall and liner with a pattern, it’ll look good. I think the install looks cleaner from the outside also.
If you have a wall that’s not as level, then a solid color liner could help hide that. An overlap liner could hide it as well since it is adjustable and can move the pattern around a bit to disguise it better.
