Overflow drain

Recently rained a ton in SoCal and my water level is super high. I have an overflow drain at the top of my tile. The water is about 1/4” above the overflow drain indicating to be the water isn’t flowing into the drain.

Where does this drain typically go to so I can check the other end of it? I’m happy to provide photos, just tell me where I need to photograph.

Thanks

Mine drains into the drainage system for my deck and landscape. Try using a high pressure hose and shoot water into the overflow at the pool. Have some helpers look and listen, and you may be able to find out where it's going.

SSB,

Sadly, some pool builders just add a pipe out for a few feet and into the ground. ?

But I agree, most of them are either tied into the deck drains or they are piped down hill and into the open air.

I like Mike's idea above,

Thanks,

Jim R.
