Over my head…

I kinda got in over my head on our little pool. I have a little 10 ft Intex pool from last year and I think I over bought my pump and filter.
I have a Radiant Cartridge Filter PRC for above ground pool and a Rx Clear 1 HP pump. I bought this last year when there were 0 appropriately sized pumps.
I’m now concerned that this is way overkill and wholly unnecessary.
I’m also having issues finding the right sizing to fit things up.
Should I give up? And if so, where should I try and sell this stuff? I think the cartridge alone was like 280. Yes, mistakes were made.

The pump sounds very oversized. You cannot oversize a filter.
I have no idea what the market for pool equipment is like in Portland, but in most areas posting the items on a local marketplace site will see them sold in an instant.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
