Oval Straight Side Not Plumb

I self-installed a 12x24 buttress free oval pool. It's dug down ~18 inches below ground level. All was well until we had a huge rainfall and the pool filled to within an inch or two of the top. I used a sub pump to remove the water back to a normal level, but noticed my straight side buttresses looked a little stressed (leaning out from the pool). I panicked, drained half the pool, dug up each of the 6 straight side supports and checked that the bottom supports were still level (they were), but found some of the 5" bolts were loosened so I tightened those back up.

I've gone on an anxiety ridden roller coaster ride of online forums where some say the straight side uprights must be exactly plumb and others say they can be off a bit. I've attached pictures. Any feedback as to what I should do, and if I need to do anything at all, would be helpful.

I have an Intex type pool but I would say there is nothing at all to worry about.. pools are not exact engineering requirements.. If it was 3 or 4 inches out then I would say something but for a 1/4 inch from top to bottom I think you are good to go :)
