Outdoor Pool, will my method keep increasing high CYA?

Hi all, I have a new pool and I run my pool 8 hours daily, pool exposures under sunlight from 12pm to 6pm.

Assuming the reading level of chlorine; ph; cya are all normal, can I only use stabilized chlorine granular and stabilized chlorine tablets for the whole year (with normal dosage)? Currently what I did is
Step 1: add in stabilized chlorine granular if reading is lower than normal level
Step 2: add in stabilized chlorine tablet 2-3 days after adding the granular, so it helps to maintain the chlorine level. then wait for it to slowly dissolve.
Step 3: Repeat step 1 if chlorine reading starts dropping out from normal level.

Or.........I should only add in stabilized chlorine granular/tablets if only CYA starting to drop? For the rest, I use unstabilized chlorine granular/tablet.

FYI, normally I dont buy cyanuric acid as I am afraid of adding too much cyanuric acid into pool. Thus, I planned to use stabilized chlorine to maintain CYA
The reason of using stabilized chlorine is because the weather is hot and im afraid of wasting too much money on using unstabilized chlorine which will be lost easily under the hot sun.

Thank you for your advice in advance :)

You can do this, but using stabilized chlorine tablets will add CYA to the water that will not leave quickly. If you do this long term, your CYA will rise to the point that you'll struggle to keep your water sanitized.

When you add chlorine (whether it is stabilized or unstabilized), the CYA level of your pool water (not of the tablet) will largely determine the rate of free chlorine loss. Stabilized chlorine tabs add CYA, Unstabilized chlorine tabs add calcium. Both of those remain in the water after the chlroine is gone, and both have downsides.

I don't know what options you have for testing and chemicals in Malaysia, but the reason TFP recommends long-term use of liquid chlorine (or a salt water chlorine generator) is that the side effects are minimized.

Unstabilized chlorine (liquid chlorine) becomes stabilized if you add it to a pool with a recommended level of CYA, so you have nothing to be afraid of. Second, whether it is tablets or granules, they both contain the same amount of CYA, roughly 50% by weight. Pretty soon you end up with an excessive concentration of CYA in your pool. So, the only valid approach is to add CYA first and use liquid chlorine on daily basis to sanitize the pool.

If your using an in line feeder, you cant mix the tables. It could cause an explosion.
