I just took possession of my new home. I bought it back in May but let the owners say two months. My current pool is a 17x37 Grecian vinyl pool with Hayward equipment. The new pool is a 15x40 fiberglass pool with Pentair equipment. More details will come. No, I have not yet tested the water. Yeah, what's taking me so long. Well, on to the photos.

My previous homeowners were so kind to super duper oooper pooper shock the pool to buy us a few days moving in. The CYA was 360 and the FC was mid 30s. :ROFLMAO:

It's the thought that counts.

Sounds like they threw in everything they had left.

I guess I need to change my signature soon. Former owner was nice enough to leave his Taylor reagents. They are expiring this month. He used to test the pool but has been using a pool service lately. I am curious what the water will test at.

Details:

22,000 gallon fiberglass pool
Pentair SuperFlo VS 1.5HP pump
Pentair SD80 VLV 2" sand filter
Pentair 400 Mastertemp gas heat
Pentair iChlor 30 SWG

Thoughts so far. Moving from all Hayward to all Pentair equipment is a little adjustment. The SWG is a little small for the pool. I liked the Hayward VSP much better than the Pentair pump. The Hayward had 8 settings you could program plus 4 pre-sets if you want select a speed quickly. The Pentair has only 3 program settings. The sand filter is similar to the Hayward. It is the gas heater I'm not sure about. I liked my heat pump.
