I have a chlorine pool currently and it will stay that way this season. I’ve been on the site for a few weeks reading /posting.

I purchased the TFPro kit. Have not used it yet.

Can someone give me a few links that will take me from 0-on my way.

I keep getting confused by my old knowledge and I’d like to start from scratch on TFP method.

Once I master that I’ll explore salt systems.

A great link to save is the Pool Care Basics page. It has just about everything you need to know in one spot.

As for where to start, tell us more about your situation and we'll walk you through it. Post a full set of water test results as well.

I’m new here but wanted to reach out and say don’t be intimidated by the test kit. Other than the cya they are all pretty simple and even easier than reading a test strip

"721" it's time to cut the cord. No more store testing. You have a fantastic kit, Post your numbers, We have more faith in your testing than a pool store. If you have any questions about a particular test, just let us know.

J, my own kit sat on my workbench for 3 or more weeks because the instruction card looked like rocket science. I even glanced at it 2 or 3 times and just couldn't. Then one day I knuckled up and actually read the instruction card.

'Fill vial to 10ml'
'add drops'
'swirl'

Things were thrown. Not gonna lie. :ROFLMAO:

I like to take each test and gather the supplies for that test. Get the bottles ready, in order and uncapped. Pick up from the left and set down on the right. (Or vice versa). It helps the flow of it all to not be searching or uncapping.

Anywho. It's STUPID easy. Have at it. We trust your 1st time #s far more than the Leslie's printout. By your 3rd try, you'll trust you too.

Thanks sounds familiar.

I will get that kit out and have at it this weekend if not sooner. I’m traveling on and out of town a lot this week for work.

I’ll watch the videos prior.

Thanks all for the Guideance.
