Hi all,

Without boring you with all the details, I’m pretty convinced my pool builder isn’t going to come to close my pool as he stated he would, and its getting cold here in WI & I’m getting nervous (not to mention the leaves are a nightmare that I’m getting sick of dealing with). SO, does anyone have any experience with putting on an Optimum Pool winter cover? Internet searches yield almost no info on it.

Thank you!

Does your cover have grommets all around the outside like this:

Did it come with wire and a winch like this:

If not, can you post a picture of the box, or the cover and contents, or provide a link to the product?

I can pull the cover/contents out later and post photos, but from what I understand, it doesn’t have grommets to put a cable through, rather it is supposed to be seated (pushed into) in this channel that goes around the top of the pool?

This might help, found a FAQ and while mostly generic it does mention "11. Coping: The standard above ground coping is a 2” wide PVC coping designed with a built in beaded liner track and winter cover track. Top cap clips are used at each panel joint. The clips must be removed to install the available winter cover."
