I am going to be away for four days beginning tomorrow. I have been SLAMing for the past 11 days(!) and I don't want the pool to regress in my absence, but I'm hesitant to run the pump 24/7 when I'm not home. Any thoughts on the most effective time of day to run the pump for 8 - 10 hours? Also, in general, is it true that the pump will use less electricity if I run it constantly as opposed to setting the timer? I realize that there will be less debris if I run it constantly, but I don't want to burn out the pump motor or go broke paying my electric bill!
