Opening pool with "dead" water

Last night measured FC: 13

This morning after running the pump all night....13.

That's weird, right? I'll check it after the sun comes out for a few hours later.

In other news the pool is super clear now and I can see the bottom clearly. It can't be this easy...can it?

It usually isn't super easy......yours may just be and that's great. You need to reread the SLAM article and make sure you do the OCLT to tell you the SLAM is complete

It gets even better! Woke up this morning to a crystal clear pool. Passed the OCLT and now the FC levels are drifting down to normal levels. Went through and vacuumed the bottom thoroughly to get all that junk out and tomorrow the FC level should be within range for swimming if it continues to drift down as it has been.

Great looking pool!!

If your FC is below shock level then it is safe to swim. Get in there and enjoy your pool!!

If it weren't for the ripples on the surface, I'd have thought that pool was empty! Great looking!
