Many of you might remember me from last year, I had a super super hot mess with combine chloramines and had to slam for about 2 weeks.

Opened up the pool today and I'm a believer, crystal clear.

I want your advice on what to correct first, I have added nothing to the pool, its been up and running maybe 3 hours. We are supposed to get pounded with rain over the next few days started this afternoon so I wanna get started on getting the chemicals balanced

Here are my numbers
pH 8.2, calcium hardness 475, total alkalinity between 130-140 (it didn't completely go red until 140, pinkish at 130), Chlorine .5-1 (not sure how, maybe residual bleach in solar panels ), and CYA less that 20 could still see black dot completely full, was a little hazy

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if I should add some bleach just to get some in pool, tackle ph or CYA first.

Don't have thermometer in pool but I can assure you its very cold

Add bleach. Get it to 3 ppm FC.
Add CYA , add 20 ppm worth. Then follow FC/CYA Levels for FC.

Lower pH to 7.4. You need to lower your TA so lowering your pH further into the lower 7's will help that. When TA gets below 80, only lower pH to 7.6.
